Czechs, Slovaks, French, Poles – anyone could bet weeks ago that this is going to be the first four in random order.
For me the world Champions are the South Africans – these boys have seen grayling for the first time about 10 days ago when they came to me. Outstanding performance of a very young team – Czechs have to watch their backs in the future!
Gary, Chase, Cameron, Tim, Christiaan, and Greg – well done!

Czechs – congratulations. Great fishing – great results.

Results from each sectors:
Team World Champions: Czech Rep., Silver: France, Bronze: Slovakia,
4th. Poland, 5th South Africa
Individual: World Champion: Adam Tomas,Czech Republic , Bronze: John Horsey, England.
Very tight last sessions – the Poles blanked which might get them off the podium. France, Czechs and Slovaks all caught fish. South Africa, who won the lake sector again, blanked on sector V. Waiting for the results – we’ll publish them as soon as they appear.

The day started with some rain, it was raining heavily for a moment. The rain hasn’t spoiled the river though. Final two sessions today – we will know who is the world champion somewhere in the evening…
